About Allison:
Your pain removing, health improving, back repairing, stress relieving massage therapist
My interest in therapies started like most people, I used therapies (mainly massage) to relax when
times were stressful and ease my backache, but in 2016 everything changed in my life when I was
made redundant.
Having built a career as a Visual merchandiser over a ten-year period I found
myself at a crossroads and decided that I would leave the retail industry completely and began
studying the therapies I had found so useful in my own life. When I look back on this now, I realise I was craving a change before it happened, and I like to think the universe was just giving me the push I needed to jump off that cliff and go for it!

As a therapist I have always connected most with Massage and Reflexology, and these continue to
be the therapies I practise most. I enjoy working with specific concerns, particularly pain
management, symptom management related to chronic health conditions or recovery from injury.
I view my work as a collaboration between myself and the people who come to me, and I always take great care to understand your concerns and work with you to create a plan of action that will elevate your health and well-being

My journey started when I studied my HNC in complementary therapies in 2017 and went on to
achieve my HND in 2019. Becoming certified in Swedish Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy,
Traditional Head Massage, and Seated Acupressure.
After 2 years of studying, I was delighted to be a qualified therapist, but as I began to practise out
in the world, I was already itching to learn more and take my skills to the next level. I have recently
completed an accredited course in Sports and Remedial Massage which has increased my knowledge of the human body, furthered my massage skills and techniques and I’ve developed a more specialised approach as a therapist.
I am continually seeking out courses to develop my skills further and I am a self-proclaimed nerd
when it comes to learning about the human body( if you mention something I haven’t heard of you
can bet I will be on google right away finding out all about it!)
